• The Northeast GYSTC center opened in 1993.

• The center serves the school systems of Banks, Franklin, Habersham, Hart, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union,White counties and Gainesville City.

• Among the many educational programs they offer elementary, middle, and high school teachers and students, some favorites include butterfly habitat and gardening, endangered/native plants, Family Science/Math Nights, and teaching math and science to Hispanic students.
