• Oconee River GYSTC is located at the Northeast Georgia RESA (Regional Educational Service Agency) in Winterville, Georgia.

• Oconee River GYSTC center opened in 1997.

• The center serves the school systems of Commerce, Jefferson and Social Circle cities, and Barrow, Clarke, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe and Walton counties.

• The center offers many educational opportunities for educators including staff development workshops and field studies. The center also provides teachers with guidance in utilizing exemplary instructional practices designed to improve student academic achievement.
